Between 6.00pm-6.30pm, this practice is covered by Local Care Direct which is staffed by local GPs and nurses. They can provide urgent medical care or advice when the practice is closed. Call the usual surgery number and follow the instructions on the recorded message.
At night or on a weekend please call the NHS 111 Service on 111. This service will advise on the best course of action They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and direct you to the best medical care for you, which may include booking you an appointment or arranging a visit from a GP outside our opening hours, although this will not be your usual GP.
In a genuine emergency (threat to life) you should call 999.
