Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If you are unable to attend the surgery and require a home visit, please notify us by telephone before 10am.

Please supply the full name and address of the patient to be seen and enough information to suggest the urgency of the visit. When requesting home visits the receptionist may need to know a little more detail on the nature of the illness and the patient’s unsuitability not attend surgery. The receptionist will sometimes point out that urgent attention would be more quickly obtained by attendance at the surgery. In this they have our full backing, especially in the case of children and young adults.

Home visits should be medically justifiable and not requested for social convenience.
